wednesday wish list

wednesday wish list

Hi everyone! I decided to switch things up a bit today and do a Wednesday Wish List post! Seeing as it’s still Wednesday and I love me some alliteration it seemed appropriate 🙂 I’ve rounded up several fall and winter pieces that I’m lusting after at the moment. I’ve recently been hearing lots of buzz about H&M’s sister brand, & Other Stories. Although I’d say it’s more like the hip older cousin, but that’s just me. Here are some pieces from their website and a few other awesome shops that I would love to add to my closet this season.

trousers

These leggings look so darn comfortable I can’t take it, plus the tapered silhouette is really flattering and adds a little flair to what could easily be a pretty boring look.

striped dress

This striped dress, also from & Other Stories is a staple piece that is so versatile it can be worn virtually year around. I don’t care about all that “horizontal stripes” hubbub this can work on anyone!

wine colored booties

I’m obsessed with these wine colored ankle boots. The color, the leather, it’s all doing it for me! Not the most practical item, but it can be a surprising pop and complement many different color pallets.

moto jacket

There’s a reason this post is titled, “wish list” and not “look what I bought!!” Not only is this moto jacket from Shopbop sold out, but it also retails at a cool $650…guys it’s not even leather! I’d say that’s slightly outside my student budget. Either way, it’s love!

lace dress

This lovely little lace dress is also from Shopbop, but at a much friendlier price point. It is another piece that I can already picture a hundred different ways to wear basically year round!

poncho

So, ok the practical part of my brain is snoozing, but I love this poncho and I don’t care how or when I would wear it, or that it wouldn’t flatter my shrimpy frame. The print and colors make me happy and that’s just the way it is. Thanks Zara, ‘preciate it. 🙂

fur collar

If I listen very closely I can hear the fit of giggles my sister and mother are in while reading this. This coat (minus the fur lined collar…which I adore) looks mighty similar to a certain black puffy coat my mom insisted on keeping after my sister and I boycotted it’s very existence. Once that morning fog took over in the winter months, we fought over who could snuggle into it’s warm embrace daily. Here’s my updated 2014 “puff jacket” in all its stylish and chic glory!
