“Chant!” My mother told me, being the spiritual maven that she is, she was telling me to chant out loud and watch my dreams and wants manifest into reality. A mere seven seconds passed before I started chanting “puppy, puppy, puppy…” under my breath from the back seat. While I do believe in the power of thought and keeping your goals at the forefront of your mind, it took about twelve more years for Mika to manifest her way into my life. Regardless of how she got here, I haven’t been the same since. This girl leaves my heart bursting with her love, goofiness, and innocence. I had no idea a person could receive so much from a dog! Lord help me when I start “manifesting” human children. I might actually explode. 😉
We are entering my favorite kind of “winter” here in southern California. You know, the kind where there’s a slight morning and evening chill, but otherwise it’s 80 degrees and sunny. 🙂 I forgot to post the photos of this winteresque outfit after we shot them a few weeks ago. I love the versatility a vest gives during the cooler CA months. I can throw it over a hoodie on a particularly chilly day, or wear it as another light layer over a basic tee, making it the perfect piece to live in for about six months.
