tut-tut, it looks like rain

SONY DSCIt basically rained for two days straight over the weekend, and it’s about time! J got me these Hunter boots for Christmas, and while the amazing weather is the very reason I love living in California, I was begging for a chance to bust these babies out. Oh, and we are in a drought, so we really needed the rain. That’s probably more important and I should have said that first. Oops. Being preoccupied with my outfits has always been a minor vice of mine : ) When I went to shoot my LA rainy day attire photos, I decided to pop up to the roof of our building for a change of scenery. I guess the sun was making up for lost time, because it was back with a vengeance. It was blasting into my eyes and apparently my attempt to keep my poor watering eyeballs open caused me to ignore the expression on my face.  I look downright pissed in some of the photos, and you should see the outtakes! I took these photos in about 17 seconds because I was terrified that at any moment, Danny from the leasing office was going to bust through the door on a tour with a potential new resident. I have no shame when it comes to J taking my photo in public, but standing on the roof alone with a tripod taking photos of myself seemed a little harder to justify. But luckily, I am not a model and it’s really about what I’m wearing, so hopefully all is forgiven!SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC
