thrift store score

SONY DSCI just need to take a quick sec to brag about my latest thrifting experience. Every 6 months or so I go to Crossroads Trading Co. in Santa Monica with a few bags of clothes that I’m ready to donate. If they like anything and want to sell it in their store then I get to apply 50% of the garments value as store credit, or can get 35% back in cash. It’s a pretty sweet deal when you bring in things you’ve been hanging on to for way too long and don’t even remember when you bought it or how much you spent on it. I took the store credit this time, because while they were looking through my items I shopped around and found some serious steals. I’ve been looking for a pair of medium wash distressed jeans. When I found these J Brand jeans I was so excited, but they weren’t distressed. However, I got them for a whopping $18,  took them home and distressed them myself! It’s insane! This top was $10.50 and I immediately fell in love with the color and it’s perfectly loose fit. Although, probably my favorite find was this pair of Steve Madden pumps. When I found them they looked practically brand new, no different than a display shoe in a department store. They hardly had a scuff mark on the bottom, and the inside looked completely unused. The absolute best part was not only were they a great price, but they were also 50% off of the $22 price tag. So, yes, I got these babies for $11. I grabbed my goods and ran out of there as fast as I could for fear that this was some sort of sick joke! The greatest part is that I was able to display all my finds here, in one outfit : )
