Happy (unofficial) start of summer! My weekend felt very summer appropriate complete with pool time, BBQ, and a cold beverage (or two 😉 ) with friends. Annnd now it’s Tuesday and the harsh reality that I have a mountain of schoolwork to tackle has smacked me in the face. And we are out of coffee. Luckily, a trip to the Nespresso boutique and a few hours of studying has officially earned me a moment to squeeze in a quick blog post.

This floral romper was a whopping $10 at Forever 21. I don’t know if it’s a guilty conscience or the thrill of a good deal, but whenever I wear items like this I feel obligated to inform every person I encounter how little I paid for it. They don’t even have to mention what I’m wearing, it’s more like, “Hi, how are you? THIS ROMPER WAS ONLY TEN DOLLARS!” So it’s probably for the best that I wore this to a family BBQ where everyone in attendance thinks knows I’m not completely crazy. I love mixing prints and a cardigan is the perfect addition to throw on once the sun goes down and the extra layer is appreciated.
