I have had this Urban Outfitters vintage inspired romper for years now, and I’m just as in love with it today as I was the day I bought it. In the cheesiest way possible, I feel like it just understands me (my clothes are some of, but not my only friends. I swear.) It blends style with comfort, is flattering in all the right places, and is truly a “no fuss” outfit I can just throw on and forget about. I feel like a 50’s pin up girl, but without the uncomfortable undergarments. Yay! Clearly I have a thing for rompers, as seen here, here, and close enough here.
Earlier this year, life seemed to take over and our summer pretty much planned itself. I honestly felt a little constricted and anxious about how it was all going to come together. Once things piled up, figuring out how to coordinate and pay for the weddings, pre-wedding events, school, work, and family functions, made even the fun occasions seem daunting. Now that we are almost in the final stretch of summer (what!?) I have to say it has all played out so nicely, with unexpected surprises along the way. I left each wedding and pre-wedding event feeling fulfilled, happy, and loved. I’ve been fascinated by my women’s studies class, and will take the awareness and knowledge I acquired with me through life. I became especially grateful to have a job I enjoy, that also allows me to put myself through college. Essentially, a period I once felt intimidated by, has left me with the perspective to recognize and appreciate my life…which is just a freaking awesome feeling. Happy Summer all! I hope yours has been as lovely as mine. xo

Love that romper on you! I also love how you styled it with just the right amount of accessories so as not to over-do. Because, honestly, the romper does not need much help anymore!
