If you are a 90’s child like myself, I hope I don’t need to elaborate further. This outfit screams, “Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?” to me, and believe me I was humming the tune for the rest of the afternoon after this shoot. I got this coat a few weeks back and have had to come up with reasons not to wear it for the fifth night in a row. It’s light and easy to throw on over almost anything, yet substantial enough for LA “winter” evenings. A bedazzled top and leather pants don’t exactly give off the “I’m a grown up” vibe, so the coat adds a final layer as well as a little sophistication. I’m pretty sure I’ll always find a justification for wearing glitter (I did mention I was a 90’s kid.) Some things never change.
