Ladies Brunch | NorCal Bridal Shower

I can’t believe the final pre-wedding event, my NorCal bridal shower, has already come and gone! Hugging my friends and family goodbye and hearing many of them say, “See you at the wedding!” was so surreal. Last weekend J and I flew up to the Bay Area for a beautiful bridal brunch. My aunt hosted the event in an adorable Victorian house that was converted into a restaurant. We ate a delicious selection of brunch bites, and sipped on mimosas and tea in a private room. The room was absolutely buzzing with chatter the entire time. It was amazing!

Each guest brought a special family recipe and gifted them all to me in an beautiful vintage looking recipe box. It was such a thoughtful idea, and I loved going through and reading everyone’s recipes afterwards. My (soon to be!) mother-in-law gave me a framed cookie recipe in her grandmother’s handwriting, Jordan’s great-grandmother!

If you follow me on Instagram, then you may already know I had a wardrobe mishap and completely forgot to pack the dress I planned to wear to the shower. Whoops! The night before we left I went to the mall and found this fun jumpsuit, that I decided to bring at the last minute. Thankfully! I paired it with a white blazer and white pointy toe pumps to make the look feel somewhat bridal. I must say, it was super comfortable and perfect for the gloomy NorCal weather!

In my SoCal bridal shower wrap up, I shared a bunch of bridal shower outfits perfect for the bride. If you haven’t checked that out yet, I will link it here. 🙂 Next up…wedding weekend! We are counting down the days. I can’t wait to marry my guy. ❤️
