Graffiti

One of my favorite things about about this city is the fact that there truly is something for everyone. I remember feeling this same way when I would venture from my hometown in Silicon Valley up to San Francisco. It’s an aspect I admire because it appeals to and draws in so many different people. I always say I need to be better about exploring and appreciating all the unique neighborhoods around me because it’s too easy to stay in my little convenience bubble.

J and I checked out a popular brunch spot, Blu Jam Cafe in West Hollywood a few weeks ago and since the line was around the block we had some time to kill. Thankfully we were armed with the A7 in preparation for this situation because almost every review on Yelp mentions the wait (and we’ve driven by it a number of times ourselves.) This vibrant graffiti mural was right next to the parking spot we snagged and he had to capture it. It totally compliments my espadrilles and aviators right? So urban, I know.

The food was delicious, but I probably would have eaten my own arm by the time they actually sat us (I believe this is all part of their sneaky plan.) The space itself was quaint, eclectic, and very pleasant. I’m laughing to myself as I realize we didn’t take a single photo of the restaurant or our food. As much as we love to try different restaurants, we are basically anti “foodies.” I’m the world’s pickiest eater so I also just assume know one cares about or trusts my opinion on food anyway. Nor should they!

So gorgeous! Love this casual look and that graffiti wall! Ughh I hate when I have to wait forever to be seated! I agree, they purposely do that so you’ll want to order everything off the menu! lol
