Winter so far has really shown Los Angelenos what we’re made of (hint: all things soft, mushy, and weak). This outfit would have easily been acceptable in the winter weather I’ve grown accustomed to, but I laugh in the face of these three flimsy layers based on last week’s weather. If the torrential downpour wasn’t enough, it’s been in the low 50’s during the day, which feels ice cold to our tender, wrinkle-free skin :P. I totally understand headwear as more than just a fashion statement now. Thank god I (accidentally!) stole this beanie. 🙂
I know this seems to be an unpopular opinion, but I’m actually more comfortable in jeans than I am in leggings. Now of course if I’m working out, Lululemon leggings become my best friend, but on a daily basis I’m just a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl. Cozy to me means giant sweatpants that swallow me whole, rather than tight “second skin” leggings.
I picked up these boots on super sale (less than $50!) from Zara a while ago, and have been wearing them a ton lately. I love Zara, but I never shop online and don’t like featuring it here on ITSF too much, because their inventory is sooo short lived. It’s impossible to share direct links for you guys. For the casual shopping outing when I have some time to really look around, Zara is great though.
