I’m not a huge “New Year’s Resolution” person, but I definitely take a little time to reflect each January. Of course, everyone could eat a little healthier, work out a little more, and always recycle. (Ok, maybe the recycling one is a personal thing. Sorry, Sissy!) But my “resolution” this year is almost an anti-resolution: to not be so hard on myself. I need to work on not sweating the small stuff and giving myself a little more leeway in hopes that even if I do eat Mexican food at least twice a week and consider walking the dog my workout most days, I’ll at least be a little happier not harping on myself for it. Who knows, maybe with the pressure off I’ll end up doing all those things I would have set out to do if I were making real resolutions. In the meantime I’m starting with this post, one that may have sat in my “drafts” folder indefinitely because I’m showing some serious leg (an area I am certainly critical of.) I’m putting it out there that not every photo I post will be the most flattering or perfect, but I’m putting fun outfits together and enjoying myself in the process, and that’s the reason I started this blog two years ago! Plus there’s leather involved, and it’s super hard not to feel like a bit of a badass in leather. And badasses don’t care about cellulite 😉
