I’ve been all about winter white this year. I practically live in these white jeans, partly because they are perfectly worn in, but also because they freshen up the dark colors and neutrals I’ve been wearing on top. Each year I make my complete disregard for old school fashion rules like “no white after Labor Day” very well known (in fact I basically screamed it from the virtual rooftops here) and this year is no different : ) I love the way white breaks up a pair of dark leather boots and a chunky sweater, especially when combined with a red lip and messy bun. I scored these boots during my holiday visit to the Bay Area this past December- thanks Mom! My older sister, mom and I are all about the same height and size, which has obviously come in handy over the years (especially when we were all living in the same state, let alone under the same roof!) but we always seem to fit in a clothing/shoe swap whenever we get together. I use the term “swap” loosely. Most of the time Mom gives me things she buys that don’t quite fit her right, and Sis puts on her stylist hat and gifts us awesome Anthro finds at a killer price. Everybody wins!
