one dress from day to night If The Stiletto Fits.

I’m super excited about today’s post because I’m doing something a little different and taking one dress from day to night. Throwing this dress on with a pair of flats and a hat for summer is pretty much a no brainer. Although ironically enough, I originally purchased it for a winter wedding in Minnesota and wore it with booties, tights and a vintage fur stole. I’ve been able to put it to good use since though, and love how comfortable and easy it is to wear! Summer days transition so easily into summer nights, that it isn’t uncommon for the day to fly by without a natural break before nighttime festivities. I can’t lie, as Californians we are pretty spoiled when it comes to our weather, however it is a slight misconception is that it’s just sunny and warm all the time. It does tend to cool down in the evenings, so it’s always a good idea to bring an extra light layer. This faux leather jacket looks much warmer than it actually is; it’s light, airy and perfect for covering up when the sun goes down. I also chose to change up my look by throwing on this pair of suede booties, the slight heel gives me an added lift to help take the look from day to night. 🙂
