Good morning loves! Whether I have to get up at 6:30 or have no AM obligations, I always start each day by scrolling through my notifications and Twitter feed. This morning I was able to lazily navigate the web and spent quite some time mulling over Dior Couture SS2015 collection. At first glance I honestly thought err…perhaps they missed the mark. Their Spring/Summer pieces are dripping with 1970’s plastic glam, it’s all sequins, bold colors and mixed patterns. I tried to keep in mind that this is Dior Couture and while I’ve grown to appreciate high fashion, I will always prefer and personally be more interested in Ready To Wear fashion. After my third pass through the length of the show I started to see the vision and found such beauty in many of the pieces. I wanted to share some of my favorites with you.
I wish you all a wonderful start to your week! J and I were in Las Vegas the end of last week and into the weekend. We’ve made several trips there together by now, but it’s such a unique, cartoonish city that we always enjoy exploring new and different things each time we are there. An all time favorite moment from this trip might have to be salsa dancing in a tiny “hole in the wall” Mexican bar. We were walking back to the hotel ready to end the evening and the next thing we knew we were doing our best JLo (circa ’97 Selena, of course) impression all over the dance floor. Or maybe that was just me. Either way it was lively and spontaneous and one of this trip’s highlights. I tried to take some GoPro footage and snapped some photos that I will share later this week. xoxo
I’m obsessed with the second dress! Def one of the more wearable ones out of the bunch. <3
