I recently placed an online order for summer dresses and casual staples, including many of the denim shorts I featured in this post. My husband asked what I ordered and when I told him he replied, “Oh cool. To wear…nowhere.” LOL.

First of all, rude. 😉 Second, even though Summer 2020 isn’t shaping up to be what anyone expected, there’s no shame in doing what you can to retain some sense of normalcy. Some people seek familiarity through workouts, self-care routines, meal plans, or staying virtually connected. A few new summer dresses don’t hurt either.

Last week I set up a date night for J and I in the backyard, complete with a candlelit picnic-style Mexican dinner (take out lol, but still) Spanish guitar, a margarita bar, and a fun summer dress. (This cute maxi!) We ate, drank and danced and almost forgot we were in our own backyard. Highly recommend!
